On Jackson Street
Where the road bends on Jackson Street
Scattered like coins down wishing wells
On park benches, memories meet
Within a glen of quiet bells
Scattered like coins down wishing wells
His secrets to her heart confide
Within a glen of quiet bells
Today sighs; yesterday's aside
His secrets to her heart confide
As shadows towards sunset crept
Today sighs; yesterday's aside
Singing old songs, between them kept
As shadows towards sunset crept
On park benches, memories meet
Singing old songs, between them kept
Where the road bends on Jackson Street.
