On Broken Wings
sad
my soul-
weeping heart-
I have been hurt
oh, how deep the dagger plunges and twists
I am staggered by the hate and- the love
within I bleed
oh, sadness-
this girl
weeps
tears
falling
and I write-
I pen the pain
sad verses fly away on broken wings
