On Blue In White
This is winter end, a season nice
Woodland smiles free from ice
Tastier is your sugar and spice
That too without too big a price
Still the flowers are thinking twice
To bloom or no what’s the advice
Warmth of summer yet to arise
A month away the spring paradise
Some inkling still in many a slice
Of sun on Anemones that entice
Strife of our life in bread and rice
Evening dates with lovely fireflies
Our cats are more after the mice
Your pink clouds do mesmerize
On blue in white the light writes
All the apples crumble in a trice
