On a Sour Note
Some days are special; others, not so much,
I don’t know why this is the case --
Days when I am completely out of touch
My head’s somewhere out in outer space.
I don’t know why this is the case –
That I cannot seem to pull myself together
My head’s somewhere out in outer space
I suppose I could blame it on the weather.
That I cannot seem to pull myself together
Well, it’s evident when I first get out of bed,
I suppose I could blame it on the weather
I know it’s something to do with my head.
Well it’s evident when I first get out of bed,
That the day is starting off on a sour note
I know it’s something to do with my head
And that there is no reason to take a vote.
That the day is starting off on a sour note
Days when I am completely out of touch,
And that there is no reason to take a vote
Some days are special; others, not so much.
