A furtive glance Slow approach A hand extended To dance An ever-familiar dance Gnarled knuckles caressing The swaying of endless memories A soft moon Glistening in curled grey A whispering of promises Repeated Kept Forever as the music fades on a last dance

Rev those engines, change the batteries and say it’s not yet that time. Keep the music playing.
