Thanks Sara. I had described our previous choice as Monster vs Cadaver. Now, I think we have Monster vs Normal people. I'm looking at the backgrounds of the candidates and one seems a lot more like common folk to me. A lot remains to be seen.

SO, many of us here are flabbergasted by what we see and hear. I understand orangutans generally behave well. Possibly better than one of our candidates!

Thanks Karen. We have a lot of excitement and justifiably so for Kamala. We were very lucky that Trump decided to debate Biden early, and the world saw that we did need to have a better spokesperson. She's done a lot of good work and will be a fine candidate.

The former President said immigrants are criminals and mentally ill people who are "poisoning the blood of our country.” This narrative suggests immigration (including illegal immigration) has brought on a crime wave—a lie. FBI data show dramatic declines in U.S. violent and property crime rates since the early 1990s. I could focus on the citizen gun nut who shot and killed a Trump rally attendee during an assassination attempt, but I would rather not cherry pick one event and generalize it to prove a point. Studies show that the enactment of legal abortion had a huge crime reduction effect. It resulted in many fewer criminals from unwanted children. So, if you were really concerned about trends in crime, why don’t you deal with what’s coming in the next couple of decades if we continue to force women to have children they don’t want? The second coming you suggest should be for Roe.

Thanks Robert! I can imagine the orange man supporters finally coming to the conclusion he is poisoning them and reluctantly separating from him to this song. Sometimes a cult member gets and intervention. However, I think many will just find it too difficult to separate. Logic and truth seems to be out the window for many who use limited source material. I hope the trend continues as it's a relief if it holds. I see no reason why she should not win.

Lin, I shall take a look. I submit the limericks I write to the Chat GPT interface and it returns a picture within a couple of seconds. I think it helps make the page more interesting to have these illustrations.

Thanks Maureen...the drama keeps increasing for sure. We're thinking it will get even more so. In the meantime, we're trying to spread the reality of the situation as best we can.

IE, we're hoping all goes well here! We have to take a look at reality and not hide from it. Biden finally saw the truth, and many of us are grateful for the chance to support someone who can deliver our message in a hopeful and kind way. We're smiling a lot more this week!!!
