Oh, Christmas Tree
Oh, Christmas tree. Oh, Christmas tree,
you're just an imitation.
Oh, Christmas tree. Oh, Christmas tree.
A tragic situation.
We got you back in ‘82
when you were shiny spanking new,
But now with all that you've been through,
it's getting hard to look at you.
Oh, Christmas tree. Oh, Christmas tree,
the family cat has jumped on you.
Oh, Christmas tee. Oh, Christmas tree,
your drooping branches broke in two.
You used to give us such a thrill,
but now we only get a chill.
So sadly to the garbage bin;
we'll shed a tear; then toss you in.
(none of my artificial trees ever got this bad. Really!!)
