~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Simmering summer slips away
in flaming sun’s fading pathway.
In the auburn wasteland fallow,
God’s grace gleams in October glow.
The whispering woods blush in breeze,
swinging in spectrum the tinged trees,
that sense autumn’s hued footfall slow,
God’s grace gleams in October glow.
As an art with gold-plated leaves,
aureate splendor autumn weaves.
It falls on garden path yellow,
God’s grace gleams in October glow.
Maroon meadow wears cute crown new,
designed by dazzling diamond dew,
sparkles with hope for tomorrow,
God’s grace gleams in October glow.
Ambling in amber dale in flare,
I float in fervent stream of air.
Feel with divine cadence soul flow,
God’s grace gleams in October glow.
