Ocean
Ocean
I sail upon the lonely ocean broad
To the sound of the blustering wind
No far horizon to be my guide
But the far away stars to steer me
Where stirring breezes meet the restless waves
White horses gallop ‘cross the foaming sea
Where the ocean currents are my paths
And through the restless seas will lead me
O’er many leagues where no land is seen
The unceasing ocean my endless home
Until at the whim of the changing winds
I return to the folk left behind me.
