Ocean

As I sail adrift on the ocean blue, I feel calm and at peace. Then I notice two dolphins doing flips in the crystal blue water. As the sunlight shines down on the mesmerizing sea. The aroma of azure waves is so refreshing to my soul. I feel so safe and at home as I roam the ocean blue. There is no place that takes my breath away such as this. 09/23/2021 Contest: “ O” New Poems Sponsor: Constance La France

This is a great time to share that one of the major changes responsible for my "disappearance." I moved to Florida and have the Atlantic ocean practically in my back yard. The multiple joys of living in a tropical state are beautifully expressed in your poem. Great imagery. ...CayCay

Hi Jo, What happens to Eleanor and Chad? Do you they married? Young Eleanor suffered much loss; first, her dear parents and then her Aunt Ruth. I think her aunt was going to change the will but passed away before got a chance to rewrite it.

I can relate to this. Around Malta is all sea and we occasionally see a dolphin or two. Lovely poem. Hugs.
