November Dreams

Drenching rains fall on A colorful leaf lined lane Leaving clear liquid puddles. The silence of fall Beckons through the naked limbs That reach, waving, for the sky.

Regina, you really wowed me with this one. Just a little thing, your fifth line is one syllable too many, but according to Soup's syllable counter, which I assume you used, it was ok. I checked at other counters to be sure. I would like to see you just say "beckons" instead of "beckoning" and it will be perfection!! Congrats. I really loved your message as well as the imagery here.

Gina, nice way to feel the autumn, esp. the 5th line - beckoning through naked limbs' is so fine. GL in contest. Mohan

I do not have a lot of background with this style but I have studied it readying for Andrea's contest. This is dead on. Flip of moods and all. I really really like it.
