'no Words - Just Tears'

No words Just tears With so many questions Who knows if they'll ever be answered? And yet, everyday this happens What set this one apart from the rest? It happened in a sanctuary A place of peace A place where people came together to worship Standing on the outside What do you say? As no words at this time seem eloquent enough But I can still pray Even while on the other side of the world Because I know the God of yesterday Is still the God of today Even if I have so many questions He still remains the author and the finisher of our faith We should still trust even though we can't see Past the heartache and pain of today

It is such a sad story. This is a beautiful way to memorialize those who lost their lives. Sadly we have no way to answer these questions but like you I will not lean upon my own understanding but will put my trust in the Lord. Bless you!

Wilma, this piece conveys a heartfelt message. What happened in Charleston was devastating. As you so skilfully penned we must continue to trust in God, even though we can't see past the pain. These are wise words. Great job. :) Alexis

A powerful poem and yes, this was a horrible thing to happen in this day and age. I'm glad there are people all over the world like you who hear of this tragedy and can empathize with the victims.

This captures the edge on the pain of “why”, when it comes to matters of trust and faith in God, and cuts through these times of grief with love and compassion. Emile. #7

A question so many of us will ask both today and many other days to come sadly. Sometimes just being close and praying is all that is needed to show your solidarity and compassion as you intercede for those who have just lost and are struggling. Even removed from the situation we feel the sting of it... Your writing here is a good outpouring, there will be strength in number from those it will reach who will support through prayer.

That is true, When we cry its part of healing Crying is not a sign of weakness its a sign Of strength, He hears our heart, he is our comforter, This is a great write very expressive,
