No Superman

NO SUPERMAN After all these years Nietzsche is turning over Still no superman No Overman shows his face In fact a reverse it seems Hail the machine age! To hell with awakening And King Midas rules The scales all out of balance The illiterate growing Things are hard not soft The awesome crowd noise growing Angry crescendo They yell fight kill solve nothing Clear heads hide or look away ‘The tail wags the dog’ To quote an age-old saying Things get big bigger BIGGEST! And yet clear heads look away ‘BIG BANG!’ all over again

Nope there's no superman for sure, things do look like they are at their worst, but you know they say the darkest part of night, is right before dawn! Interesting write! Thanks for sharing. Caroline.

This is really deep Daver and I'm trying to imagine what you'd look like flying through the sky in a Superman costume. I am also wondering if another big bang will be in the future because the tail is still wagging the dog. A super poem from a super poet! Best to you, Diane

yes, Daver, so sad, there is no superman. And the one that could save us all, very few are listening to Him. Good one. Luv, Andrea

No Superman, huh? Oh well, you'd have to wear tights, and fly about fighting off those hoodlums. Lots happening in this write, Daver! Machines, and stuff getting bigger, you know you lost me after Superman.:) Your question...why yes, I was a replacement teacher!! Loved it! Now I'm as bug brained as you were with that Llama!! I know I'll come back and it will all fall into place...but I might have questions..questions..questions. Best to you and yours!! Love, Mikki

Nietzsche propounded the "Overman"- a more highly evolved species of man, human, of course, and not from another planet.

LOL You summed up very humorously this current state of affairs, Daver. Midas does rule! I wonder if we are heading for another "Big Bang" if the 2012 prophecies are born out. Have you seen the movie "Wag the Dog"? Very funny - Dustin Hoffman, Robert DeNiro and Willie Nelson stage a phony war to take public attention off an American president's affair while he's up for re-election. Love this one so much it goes to my faves!! Love you as well and I have lost 16 pounds now. Carolyn
