I have heard that mairsy doats and sweet little doesy doats. I'd agree that cowsy doats. Why do lamzay noats?

Apparently the idea for the original song (which was on American pop charts in the early 1940s) came from an English nursery rhyme: "Cowzy tweet and sowzy tweet and liddle sharksy doisters." LOL Thanks Jan. hugs :)
