WoW! Yeah in a cashless society the only thing a beggar can hope for is that someone will buy them something to eat. Good one Harry. God Bless, JB

That's a deep thought, Harry. Yes, cashless society sounds great, what about beggars? Profound!

We may still be a long way from that situation from becoming reality. Too many people on the streets still come to me asking for money.

They may upgrade to bitcoin, credit and debit cards, PayPal and such, LOL! Never thought that hats & begging bowls would be obsolete on city street! shalom, shalom & THANX

I guess there is a possibility that we will one day move to a cashless society. Just don't know how it will work. Sad to think that even in a cashless society poor people may still have empty bowls. Quite a profound senryu, Harry. Love the contrast in the third line! Hugs, Carolyn

Your last line is so potent Harry--beggars will be the big losers in a cashless society.

Sign of the times Harry, many go hungry because of it. Tom

We had best learn to eat from what God provides in the country. A haiku that is so true. ~~

I always wanted such a society. For lack of money many go hungry, many other miseries abounds. Animals live without money. At least till alive, no animal in jungle goes hungry. Money is the cause of many sins. It should be banned. Take care Rama
