Night Time Quiet
I love when the sun finally sets
coming home during the evening
when one can get a little rest
sitting under the fan twirling on the ceiling,
Being able to finally kick my shoes off
and let my toes have some wiggle room
not having to listen to my boss
or various co-workers vent and fume,
Nor not having to look at the clock
and rush to make production
its a rush driving home to my block
where home sweet home is welcome,
You can hear the quiet at night time
after the evening slowly fades away
folks like me need this which is no crime
calms down nerves after putting in a full day.
