New Friends - Collaboration

I've been getting to know really well My new friend with so much to tell. We've got similar work And we share the same quirk: Our sore bodies are giving us hell! For her friendship I'm in her debt Though I like Soup, it's not home yet So with her kind words I feel like I'm heard And not a nobody poet. *Collaboration of Andrea Dietrich (1st stanza) and Susan Burch (second) Received 7th place in "Grab a Mate and Collaborate" contest

Susan, you are definitely not a "nobody poet." I read and commented on Andrea's version just now, but wanted you to know how much I enjoyed your collaboration. Great use of the limerick form the describe your new friendship. Best wishes in Tracie's contest! Love, Carolyn

What more could I ask for today? It is a beautiful day the sun shining and birds singing. I am reading your poetry in which you share a little of yourself maybe without even realizing it you have written from your soul. Thank you for sharing your wonderful poetry with us Susan and Andrea. Love, Carol
