Never Give Up

My dad said never give up to me, as I sat upon his feathered knee. Little ducks need to swim, the water is like a gym. I will not give up-I am free. Date Written: 5/5/2021 Syllable Count Duck: says-never give up

A good message for us all. Funny I should come across your poem today, just left the hospital after surgery and repeated your last line to myself. Theodore Roosevelt was famous for saying "Never give up" in a speech he gave once. It was a sweet little poem. Quack, quack.
