When languishing in distress
enveloped around guilt’s doom
desperately pleading for forgiveness…
my hopeless soul wails for faith empowerment---
---trusting God to uphold me with His grace, along pardon’s bliss.
When forsaken midst dearth
seeking for relief midst financial crises
mournful over discomfort as misery attacks…
my heart implores for contentment-filled support---
---seeking the Lord for His sufficiency in meeting all of my needs.
When left destitute
longing for urgent care
agonizing because of infirmity’s torture…
my health beseeches for wellness steadfastness---
---clinging to the Saviour Who is my greatest Healer!
When forlorn, wallowing in failure
intensified by afflicting shame and self-pity
blaming inadequacy that brought rejection traumas…
my spirit entreats for peace along redemption assurance---
---abiding in Christ Who calls me as His own, sealed* with His love.
*Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.
