~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Laughing stars glisten In a midnight sky, Sentiments of gentle surrendered To the night… Dancing leaves tremble On a warm afternoon, Lessons of glories pretending To be less than magnificent… Dewdrops slide along a petal, Reflecting silent dreams, Caressing dawn’s pleasure With whispers of precious peace … Bumble bees buzz, breathless, Leaving trails of light, Falling over the senses Stirring hearts to listen… Wonders in tones of grace, Kiss away the doubts, Melodies of pleasure Sighing through the spirit… Hopeful wings fly south, Erasing summer’s scene, Promising to listen When seas begin to sing… Nature brings her wisdom, In beauty that will never leave, Abandoned to the mysteries, Who soothe away nature’s tears…
Here in your lovely poem Nature appears as the most endearing presence. Nature is a God given gift,. Instead of polluting it, we should try to preserve its pristine beauty. "Dewdrops slide along a petal, Reflecting silent dreams, Caressing dawn’s pleasure, With whispers of precious peace …" Love this stanza. The whole poem is so picturesque ! Stay Blessed dear Gina.
Your celebration of nature and what it offers is both beautiful and soothing. Your title was perfect as was the illustration. Personifying nature added a special quality to your words and message. Nicely done. Have a blessed evening, hugs, Sara
Regina, your poem is a beautiful and evocative celebration of nature and her many wonders. The imagery is rich and sensual, and the tone is both peaceful and hopeful. I especially appreciate the way you use personification to give the natural world a voice and a sense of agency. I also want to add that it is important to cherish the natural world and to do our part to protect it. Nature is a precious gift, and we are all responsible for its care. Thank you for using your gift of poetry to raise awareness of the importance of nature and its preservation.
