Nature's Language

Snow laced branches Reach through the fog Where leaves still hang As if to seek clarity, In a gray covered day When winter came early And fall had not finished Rapid changes in time The pages are turning Of a story to be told As curious birds watch The seasons unfold Fallen branches scribble, In the blanket of snow Nature’s language to be read Like a pure love letter sent Opened by a soul mate Waiting with a longing heart On the edge of change, At the beginning of forever Heidi Sands 11/13/18
