THE GREAT EGRET KNOWS SECRETS OF MY LIFE.

MY SPIRIT BIRD
My spirit bird Egret the Great
Graceful majestic modest
spreading milky white plumage
soaring high paying homage to sky
Inspiration of my mind since childhood.
When Sun is down on dusty dusk
Eager egrets flying in designed array
towards nest for rest framing a garland,
carrying my dormant desires on their wings.
My wobbling heart sways and swings.
Aching soul to pine over forgotten love of bygone days
watching tranquil flight of flock in diffused sun rays
My fragile dreams seek solace,
wish to ignite sleeping secret of fresh amour
flying with Great Egrets in quietude.
