My Sky
You are my sky,
the unfurled petals of infinite blue
where on the wings of swan cloud
the tapestry of my dreams flies.
On the canvas of my heart
colors of your sunburst smile paint portrait of love.
The pearls of dew on my emerald meadow
shine in the glint of your enthralling eyes.
In my mind’s garden of roses
you flutter like a butterfly
through the enticing zephyr of splendored spring,
rippling with the rhythm of rapture.
In the firmament of my fervor
you are a diamond on my crown.
With the flash of a shooting star
you blaze the trail of longing in my heart.
Across the sea of my sated soul
you rise as an alluring horizon of adoration,
I’ll fly there as a bird of yearning,
for you are my sky.
