My Promise To Her

So gently I hold in my arms My first child I'm so proud I will be a great father My promise, to her Her meek voice Little fingers Little toes Little nose The way she looks around My little angel Beautiful Is her smiling face My newborn My daughter So precious my little one I love her so much Give Me A Shardoma Poetry Contest Sponsor: Sotto Poet 2/18/2022

Ahhh!! She is a lucky little one who has a promise that you will be a great father. Being a parent is not an easy job for sure. Two of children on the downhill side of fifty heading toward 60 and I am still concerned about them and how they are doing even though sometimes they make it hard. Once a parent always a parent. I will have to look up the Shardoma form and try to write a few. Thanks for the visit. Sara
