My Plant Life
I love the warmth and humidity of the south
kind of smallish but have various mouths
my colors are a brilliant red and green
but if you get too close I can suddenly turn mean,
Several species of insects better beware and take care
I can clamp down on you like your in a jail
my diet is beetles, crickets, grasshoppers and fly's
being sneaky and carnivorous I keep still till you drop by,
I have to eat and digest you so my energy doesn't sap
its all part of me being a unique Venus Fly Trap.
