My Pen

my pen Say she’s leaving Taking the Amtrak train And if I don’t stop her She’s not coming back again Says that my writing Cause the relationship to end She say she love me But I have to stop my pen So she start packing Don’t want to be late I watch from the window As she walk out the gate All I have is my poems It comes to my head And if I can’t share them Then I am better off dead How can she love me? But don’t want me to write It’s like wanting the moon But you don’t need the night So I rather be alone In my darken den Than living with someone Who wants to stop my pen? Everyone has a passion I got mine and you got yours And if you try to stop a dream Frustrations will walk thru the doors Don’t know where she’s going And to be honest I don’t care She tries to stop my poems And that’s wasn’t not fair Sometimes you spend years With the wrong one And never really knows it Until they are gone She’s in the train by now She was not my friend I know she never was She tries to kill my pen Some try to stop your dreams And never look for their’s Won’t waste time to search for it So they try to make yours disappears
