My Heart, Soul, and Spirit
"The meaning of life is our knowing participation with the
greater powers around us, in us, and within us. "

The breath of my life is my soul,
it takes courage to look into your mind;
to seek your true identity,
I have seen the recesses of my heart.
Seen my ego- the source of self,
the vital core essence of existence;
have found my spiritual parts,
considered immortality of soul.
I was brought up Roman Catholic,
religion doctrine drilled into me;
but also listened to grandma,
about her Ojibway teachings and ways.
About the spirits in the sky,
to honor the eagle who touches God;
and I also found great Buddha,
his teachings for a peaceful way of life.
Have found meditation is strength,
I like Tarot cards and quotes meaningful;
learned to accept this earthly life,
and how to feed my spiritual soul.
