My Comments

My comments are meant to encourage When I read the poem, I was impressed, For you to say what you wrote took courage My comments are meant to encourage I don’t know why you take such umbrage, When your poems are not so addressed My comments are meant to encourage When I read the poem, I was impressed.

Most read, not because they care about you, they just want hundreds of reads and their comments are short, cold and devoid of true caring--I put this in my quotes! I am grateful to get free reads and comment advice, but I don't have to agree with that ridiculous comment above!

I take it you read the long piece by the person I addressed my triolet to. Yes, she writes these things because she is jealous that so few people comment on her poems. When people do comment, she is never pleased and often blocks them. She has had me blocked for two years!

Try and try again. Too often comments are misunderstood. More's the pity for one who fails to recognize concern and treats it as a umbrage.

I suppose you've read her most recent diatribe, Jenna. I couldn't resist this brief response.

Thank you, Kim. Yes, I write comments to acknowledge, to encourage, and to say, "Hey, I read your poem, and I enjoyed it."
