My Christmas Love

My Christmas love has eyes as warm as cocoa sipped by a cozy fire. A candy cane smile draws me to him. It is a treat to taste sugar plum lips so sweet! Written Dec. 19, 2015 for Kim Merryman's A Christmas Waltz Wave Poetry Contest

My big congratulations on your first place, Andrea. It's the perfect poem for a Christmas Waltz with your sweetheart. The weather in New York City has been very mild. Even now is in the fifties. Joseph got it dead on, this really is nice, also its shape screams Christmas. Looks like a little tree I would fall in love with or a funky angel or clause or cross. Its shape is as brilliant as its words. A Fav! Merry, Merry, Christmas to you and yours!
