My Black Stallion

At once captured my heart, this fiery beast His mane, black flame, his eyes, ebony heat As Father and I returned from the East That night, I took him a sugary treat Storms sunk us; we alone landed the beach Tamed by love, he let me upon his back He had lessons of heart and speed to teach Rescued, we came home; trained on my old track All the talk was of the champion's race I entered him, despite Mother's chagrin He claimed victory with his lightning pace With Father, I wished I could share this win Through the crowd, hoisting the trophy I'd earned Walking towards me - Father had returned! 2/1/19 Contest: Movie Magic Sponsor: Gregory R. This is really wonderful, Michelle. You've really got the plot of a heartwarming, feel-good movie, here. The only obstacle to fame and fortune in Hollywood is the lack of gratuitous sex and violence. Oh, well... :) gw

Oh, this was a great picture! I want to see it again now. Your imagery is perfect, and your tribute poem wonderful. I expect to see this in the winner's circle with lights around its garland neck.
