Reborn, here, now, without baggage,
Autumn inflames my heart and soul.
Yet, I lament summer's passage,
its dry bones crunching as I stroll.
Cold winds shake the trees bare of leaves,
reborn here, now without baggage.
And brisk breezes blow in like thieves,
stealing warmth and causing damage.
Fall is a seasonal package
that's wrapped in multicolored hues.
Reborn here, now, without baggage,
scarlet rejuvenates my muse.
Autumn leaves form a fairyland,
where color is an advantage.
And nature paints summer's last stand,
reborn here, now, without baggage.
