Multicolored Ribbons

With pigments of orange and gold, Autumn inflames my heart and soul. Yet, I lament Summer's passing; colored leaves crunching as I stroll. Cold nights, ink tree-top canopies, with pigments of orange and gold. And brisk breezes blow in like thieves, stealing your breath's warm contrails. Fall is a seasonal package, wrapped in multicolored ribbons. With pigments of orange and gold; Jack Frost paints the leaves on the trees. Autumn's like a burst of fireworks: a color extravaganza! For Autumn, gilds green foliage; with pigments of orange and gold.

Good Morning Emile. It was an honor turning to your page this morning and yes to this well executed entry. Autumn is my favorite time of year for all obvious reasons and for all reasons that you state and paint for us. Is she not fabulous with all her flair as you wonderfully share with us. Yes she is. Thank you for sharing. May this day find you well. Keep enjoying poetry and poetrysoup.

Beautiful quatern on autumn, Emile. Oh, how I hate the end of summer. I'm a warm-weather person through and through and autumn tells me winter is coming fast on her heels. Good writing, as always.
