Mountains of Pillows
A bag of popcorn in my bed,
A mountain of pillows at my head,
A slab of pizza on my right,
What more could a girl want for at night?
Streaming a movie from Amazon,
Long silk nightie and curlers on,
A mountain of pillows to my right,
Makes a girl seem less alone at night.
Rain outside is coming down.
A comforting, soothing sound,
Soon I’ll sleep and take my rest,
With mountains of pillows to caress.
