Mother again and AGAIN I come to visit you, and each time I bring a fresh picked r e d rose with dew. The bus ride to the cemetery is HOURS long, and I have m i l e s to go- so I hum quietly your song. I will never FORGET "I'll be seeing you" was playing, on that h o r r i b l e day mother- I ended your suffering. Since then, I have JOURNEYED a long road, u n p l u g her said the doctors- how my tears flowed. Now, at your tomb FORLORN I fall to my knees, mother, oh how I miss you- f o r g i v e me please. There is not a SINGLE day, a singe day mother, that I do not think of you with a h e a r t so bitter. You should be here on EARTH with me healthy, oh my sorrow and tears could fill the d e e p blue sea. Well goodbye for now UNTIL I visit the next time, one day, mother the steps to h e a v e n I will climb. _________________________ November 26, 2017 Poetry/Couplet/Mother, Forgive Me Copyright Protected, ID 17-9664-19-0 All Rights Reserved. Well done, Broken Wings. You took a tragic topic and handled it with grace and gentleness. I like the accompanying photo, too. Congrats on your strong second-place win. :) Bartholomew

We all have our turn. You of all people are gentle and kind, and would have given anything to change the situation. Sometimes, that is beyond the little bit of control that we may have. So, I send thee tons of thoughts of forgiveness and joy for the beautiful words you share.

I watched my father take his last breaths BW. We did not have to make the decision, he made it, but I sometimes wonder if he would make the same one if he had to do it again. I believe would. A touching write.

I have two nieces who had to face that. Living wills are so important. However, BW, think if you would have wanted to linger, and you may come to the conclusion that if she could she would tell you she is grateful to you for she is in a better place.
