Ephesians 1:3 (KJV) “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”
She said I was lucky because I have so much
to be thankful for…
joy that abounds in my soul,
love that is alive and sure,
hope that stills all my fears,
faith that conquers and defeats
all the doubts, the worries, the pain.
She told me I was a lucky lady,
so I smiled and assured her I felt more
than lucky, more than fortunate…
I feel like I’m blessed by heaven’s best,
By the love of my life, Jesus Christ.
I feel like I’m blessed by hope, faith and love
I feel like I’m blessed by peace from above
I feel like I’m blessed by the grace that accepts.
I feel like I’m blessed by Him who I praise.
I feel like I’m blessed by the King of Kings,
The Maker of peace, the Creator of each blessing.
She said I was lucky.
I hope that she can see…
It’s more than luck that reassures me.
It is the blessings from above that encourage me…
To keep believing, keep receiving, keep realizing,
His blessings are never ending, ever flowing, always giving,
Gifts that come from the One who shines His light,
Through the darkness – So I can see, He is my greatest blessing,
He is everything I ever dreamed a friend might be.
He is everything my heart and soul could possibly need.
I’m more than lucky. I’m blessed beyond belief!
