My prose poem embarks on an odyssey through the realms of true love and time. It is a mixture of emotions sewn with threads of moonlit tales and the tender warmth of shared sunrises, unfolding a saga etched in the chronicles of our existence. It is a poetic journey, traversing the landscapes of passion, dancing amidst the flames of fervent fondness, and exploring the silent soliloquy of souls tethered by enduring love.  I Draw inspiration from the romantic traditions of yesteryears and employ metaphors and imagery to shape the contours of love's evolution—from youthful exuberance to the graceful embrace of twilight. The added Diamante additions, which contrast the progress between different stages, try to add a unique touch to the prose poem.

Welcome to the realms of my prose poetic expression, and Happy Early Valentine's Day!

------------------

In the realm of moons and breathless tides, where promises dance with a serendipitous sonnet of sunrises, along with morning kisses, unfolds a love story— a poetic novel etched in the chronicles within the hourglass of time, a journey that transcends the fabric of our mere existence. You, my dearest love, are the goosebumps that dance on my skin where your fingertips ignite; your touch—a tempest, a lightning strike— sends shockwaves through my soul. Each kiss, reshaped my heart; sculpting canyons of adventure and summits majestic. Like sunlight through stained glass, your devotion illuminates my darkest hopes. A precious, flowering bud being formed…
Petals of Passion Wildfire, eruption, playful Tenderness, trust, understanding Love's melody, intertwined souls Serenity, bashert, wisdom Mature Devotion
We dance a delicate duet— from the furnace of fervent fondness to the silent soliloquy of our emblazed souls. You anchor my stormy seas; a lighthouse guiding emotions. Your smiling laughter—a melody cascading down the waterfall of time—calms the thunder in my chest. Your tears, amethyst glistening in starlight, cradled with the reverence of a quiet prayer. Your anger—a cleansing rain—washes away complacency. Forgiveness, a rising and falling tide, ebbs and flows, washing clean the sandcastles of hurt. Patience, a weathered white oak, roots deep in the soil of trust, shelters us from the dividing squalls of doubt and draught. Our spirits, once solitary stars in His creation, are now artistically formed into images of romantic asterisms. In your eyes, I see you as the reflection of my soul; etched with shared hopes, fears, and dreamed dreams revealing lessons learned and adventures unknown and schemed. We are two melodies, two souls humming the same tune; blending, harmonizing in a voice of a seamlessly orchestrated liberation. The wondrous life we built together, tears of joy sparkling amongst victories side-by-side. You fulfill the missing part of my lonely existence; the answer to questions my heart never dared to ask. You challenge me, push me to the boundaries of understanding, and laughter that cascades like summer rain, washing away doubt. of perception. Strengthening our vow as…

My lady, you are a starlight-forged angel; held within my arms; the meaning laced into the memory laden cloak of my days. A sun warming the recesses of my soul; a moon guiding the landscapes of my dreaming ways. Beside you, I inscribe love letters; for just as the stars in the heavens are forever bound in the night sky, so too is my adoration for you. The moonlight sonata given to the rite of sunrise, "Le Matin," and be forever lost—happily lost— in the intricate beauty of your being. Let us waltz like waltzing wildflowers in the soft susurrus of the ever-changing wind; to the tender tune of true love; creating an intertwining timeless masterpiece that transcends the boundaries of our most extraordinary God-given lives. Tears, moonlight jewels, glistening on memories carved in our forever souls. Gently and assuredly leading us into our final…
Twilight Fading Sunlight, Quiet Serene, Silent, Shared Stories Gratitude, Acceptance, Grace, Memories Wrinkled parchment, Lines Etched Soulmates, Hand in Hand Unbroken Bond
The years have gracefully passed; seasons slowly turned; yet our romance remains—a gold-quilled hope of time. The wrinkles around our eyes form a myriad of constellations from joyous laughter, secrets shared, and battles fought and won together. Our hair, once chestnut and flaxen, now yarn of silver spun with moonlight, amplifying the aura of passion deep within. The scent of old books and shared memories lingers in the crevices of our being. Beneath the quilt of years, honeyed flames, not flickering like youth's inferno, but a steady burn, warming us from within. This love, seasoned and strong, a fortress built on the ruins of youthful storms, hums its lullaby against the twilight's sigh… In the embrace of quiet starlit skies, our hearts align in perfect harmony, dancing an eternal waltz. You are my muse, my dream realized, my beloved wife, my princess, my forever love, my cherished bride. Together, we write the final verse of our love song, inked in His Book of Life of shared memories and pious promises. Hand in hand, soul to soul, we journey into the endless expanse of forever, bound by an unbreakable bond forged in the fire of our enduring love.
Our hands, wrinkled maps of a life well-lived. Intertwined, tracing constellations of shared joy, Forever, tethered to the moonlit sonata of our heavenly souls.

I especially enjoyed the mention of intricate beauty in Her being, and this... " ...roots deep in the soil of trust, shelters us from the dividing squalls of doubt and draught. Our spirits, once solitary stars in His creation, are now artistically formed into images of romantic asterisms..." An epic Masterpiece ! (And master stroke of Love)

This is the best piece I have read of late.... the beautiful saga of a life lived together in love, is probably the best Valentine's poem. Each line tells something about the divine bond shared between the two of you .... your affection's steady growth from youth and middle age to the twilight years. There has never been a downward spiral in the ascending chart, never a bottleneck in the smooth traversing through the highway of life. I just love it. "Let us waltz-like waltzing wildflowers in the soft susurrus of the ever-changing wind; to the tender tune of true love; creating an intertwining timeless masterpiece that transcends the boundaries of our most extraordinary God-given lives.".....! This is poetry of the most sublime kind. Into my FAVE

Greetings, Daniel! What an eloquent exploration of a relationship of committed love that steadily grows in depth and maturity! I am so glad I found this on Valentine's Day. I love the way you blend several poetic forms with creative, fresh imagery - "sonnet of sunrises" is just a small example of the poetic gems that sparkle. Each line is so carefully crafted for maximum effect - like light in a Rembrandt painting. Best wishes and blessings to you on this Valentine's Day.

An incredible love story and inspirational ideal. You capture all of it. My reaction is that anyone who is your partner is sure lucky. Just understanding the concept you present amazes me. The passion we can have and share with another person as you describe it takes a lot of work to maintain and only a few very special people get to experience passion on this level. I have some of what you describe but not all. Your poem inspires me to take my love to the highest level possible. A big TY!
