Moments of Reflection

Sometimes I take a stroll through the woodlands or sit on my front porch and just think about...well, things. Yes, think about...well, things. I have no real cares or worries. Anything I would be concerned about is beyond my control. You might say, “it is what it is.” I like to think that I observe things. Yes, I observe things, and I draw great comfort from knowing the Powers that are far above and beyond me are in control, and there is no need for me to fret. As I watch the birds and the animals, I can see that they, too, feel as I do. They go about their daily business of living their lives with some knowledge that a higher Power is providing for them and watching over them.

Such a beautiful statement of your living faith ML! I have a card on my desk that says "Relax! God's in charge." When things are chaotic I look at it often. Congratulations on your win. Blessings to you!

Come what may, eh! Science takes a chapter about explanations as to ... "why it is." Intrigue for the answer seekers, I suppose. Speaking for myself, -- your heart speaks true my friend. When all else matters naught, as there comes a 'time' ... much too fast, methinks. Deeply insightful share, Milt, and my compliments for your win, Aloha!

This would not fit on a T-shirt, so I suggest you have it printed on shower curtains and sell them. " I draw great comfort from knowing the Powers that are far above and beyond me are in control, and there is no need for me to fret."

Yep...it is what it is...no matter how you sift it or shake it. Hmmm...just what I need, another idea for a business. I'm too old to be the entrepreneur now.

The narrative at the beginning is insightful and thought-provoking, Milton. Animals do seem to accept life's adversities better than we do. Perhaps they are in touch with a Higher Power. Lovely reflections, Milton. Best wishes for a win in the contest! Hugs, Carolyn
