Mirror
Don’t tell me this, tell me that
Fill my mind with things, you want me to hear
A convincing, that you believe
If I hear enough, will be mine
For it is not mine, but yours
As you open and shut doors
I am not a mirror
I am not a parody
I am not a star
I am who I am
Not someone you can see overnight
Not someone you can see in the sky
Not someone you can mold into a dream
I am human and my soul has the last say
With what I do, what I choose….
On my very path today
