Midair Evaporated
A wet destiny was eye of the storm
in the middle of
A whirlwind end to our love
was the reason because
Lost and tossed at sea
by sad, unanchored memories
Tears falling like torrential rain,
heart shipwrecked in a sea of pain
I would’ve cried more
over the loss of you
But the tears fell short,
when I met
another rejected soul too
I would’ve cried so much more
over the loss of your love
But the tears fell short,
when my heart was born again
in the revival joy thereof
I mourned the death of our love
But the tears fell not to the ground ...
midair evaporated
I grieved at the burial of our love
But the pain stopped pouring down ...
midair evaporated
I cried so often and so much,
the tears kept falling and falling down
from sad, damp eyes above
Until that calm day,
when I heard no more splashing sound
For into my life
walked a new sunshine love
My cloudy mind is now cleared up
Midair evaporated tears
is the loving reason because
