Your four luminous lines make me see hear and feel. That is the sign of an effective writer. I am still jingling at the thought of Xmas, but I must admit I feel relief when its over, Merry Christmas dear Line, love xo

It's crazy how time flies, especially that we have less and less energy as we age and have to learn to slow down.

THIS I've seen and can relate to. The sadness and desolation of the aftermath of the holidays is well-captured. Nicely done, Line! Season's best, Gershon

Oh I hate to see the trees discarded; some folks plant them and have a lovely space around their homes. Oh well, at least no snow right now. A vivid post holiday season poem.

It really makes me feel sad when I see the once vibrant decorated trees discarded and lying on their side as they look so forlorn. Perfect title for this poem that brings reality to light Line. Happy Holidays! : ) xxoo

Absolutely, these beautiful trees are so underused... it's little consolation but they are thankfully recycled.
