Memories of the Past
I'm hanging on to the memory of what
once was,
When I felt loved,cherished and adored.
Now I just feel tolerated by you.
Was it all an illusion?
Did I ever have your heart?
I'm beginning to think that we were only
make believe.
Now I'm at a crossroad in my life.
Should I leave this sham of a marriage
or should I stay?
I choose the road of the unknown
and I'm terrified as hell. But I can't
stay here, If I do I will surely die……
