May Love Be My Reputation
My perpetual life has spiraled out of control,
for a hollow pit has coiled and taken a toll-
I only face fear and trepidation of my soul,
as I raise my hands to grasp one last moment,
I find my chaotic existence is lost in atonement,
so, I plead with the Lord to make me whole.
The apocalypse brings cacophony and commotion,
I need salvation, revelation and sincere devotion-
Hysteria on earth has taken away all true emotion,
with a kaleidoscope of remorse and sin,
may I find my peace and serenity held within,
so I can return to a world of love and hope.
The Lord has saved me from life’s slippery slope,
with a sign that maybe I’ll find a calm notion.
I need not feel anxiety,
for grace is my notoriety-
May love be my reputation,
finding endless continuation-
Feel Heaven’s entirety,
embracing life’s renown creation.
