Maxed Out

The blushing beauty doesn’t want to be noticed? She wears a peacock in her hair...corkscrews, ringlets, spirals everywhere. Yellow, orange, bluebirds, hearts exuding happiness. The X’s and O’s on the lipstick-colored wall exposed. Her lemon shoulders lift in flirtation. She’s a punctuation, a flamboyant Mona Lisa. Put the two gals side by side. One follows you but remains in the Louvre crowd. The other blends in her pink blush, maxed out. 9/28/2020 Blushing Beauty by Peter Max

I don't wear makeup anymore other than lipstick. She sounds like a card. Awesome poem! Love, Angie

She’s a piece of art! I mostly wear light foundation but under mask (at work) nothing. 2020!

It is a rhetorical question meant to emphasize her flamboyant looks. :)
