When I saw that he died, I said what? what? What? I could not wrap my mind around it. Why do we care? We all live in this life together.

He will be remembered so well by many many people. It's always so sad when those people who played memorable characters on tv pass away. Great tribute.

A shock to many that knew him from "friends" on T.V. Thanks for writing a tribute to remind us of the smiles his character gave us. It can really hit hard when we realize life can end suddenly to any of us. Write On! A poet friend in Texas, Bill

yes Bill, we have to care everyday, it could happen to everyone, his life was not so easy and quiet, i read somewhere, god bless him and his new friends

So many hundreds and hundreds shocked and so sad. A comical genius who made so many people of different ages feel happy, laugh and smile. It is just so tough for us to wrap our heads around. I'm sure his former cast is especially devastated as they were probably his closest 'friends' May he find his own peace, happiness and laughter that he gave us for years, above.
