Mask Quandary
At first, they ruled masks were not needed-
And later, must wear them- they pleaded!
And so- what should we think
When rules change- in a blink?
No wonder requests go unheeded!
The law rules, in stores, we must wear one-
Or with our face bare, sent away- done!
Yet, protesters, not asked
To converge, fully masked-
Not chastised in gathering with none!
With lungs somewhat frail, I support it-
But cannot breathe well doing tasks with.
Oxygen falls below-
CO2 trapped in flow-
For feeling quite ill- mask is culprit!
Divided is news on this virus-
Pandemic or not- does divide us.
Very hard to sort out
When some facts are in doubt-
Is wearing masks good- or capricious?
