Magical
There was something magical that night,
Fairies flew around the green birches,
Others glided up around the church's steeple,
Until tired they rested in their perches.
Below two lovers hugged on a small bench,
Whilst fairies hummed a mellow melody,
The magic worked in a great symphony,
Their lips brushed softly, so heavenly.
Alas, time passed and waited for no one.
The fairies dispersed to their magic alley.
The lovers hugged and walked home,
A small cottage, full of magic of the valley.
