Longing to escape my reality,
on a bright sunny day, I went for a walk,
velvety flowers were waiting for me around
every turn in the forest path, and
long, I lingered in the lush tangled emerald.
In my beautiful and serene tranquility,
new beginnings stirred within and I absorbed the,
exquisite scenes and sweet bird melodies,
so soothing to my soul, and butterflies drifted gracefully
silent, in the dappled lovely green . . .
