Eights lines 6 syllables per line, rhymed aa bb cc dd (must rhyme on some level), or eight lines 6 syllables each line...None rhymed.

Letting everyone see, she smiles sweetly at me. And my heart skips a beat, as doubt and hope compete. When she whispers my name, desire lights passion's flame. I was awed at first sight, and fell in love that night. (Modified-Alexandrine) 03/11/2020
