Love, Hope, Life, Imagination, May We Live It With Good
Love, Hope, Life, Imagination, May We Live It With Good
Poetry is a spirit born of heart, soul and sound mind
Read, spoken aloud, it comforts when one hears it
As it questions all life, love, hope, actions of all mankind
And that worst of all, final death, the end as we near it
It gives soothing comfort even to we that are so blind.
Robert J. Lindley, July 12th, 1971
Quatrain
Note: A short poem, written at age 15
Expectation In Life
Sun rose as life again this said
Rise ye lad from that your night bed
Know every day is a gift
Should love come, it does so uplift.
