Love, Hope, Life, Imagination, May We Live It With Good

Love, Hope, Life, Imagination, May We Live It With Good Poetry is a spirit born of heart, soul and sound mind Read, spoken aloud, it comforts when one hears it As it questions all life, love, hope, actions of all mankind And that worst of all, final death, the end as we near it It gives soothing comfort even to we that are so blind. Robert J. Lindley, July 12th, 1971 Quatrain Note: A short poem, written at age 15 Expectation In Life Sun rose as life again this said Rise ye lad from that your night bed Know every day is a gift Should love come, it does so uplift.

Both poems of insight and encouragement, in an appropriate style for your age and maturity, Robert. Well said, both times my friend. Impressive blog you're writing, Robert. Thanks for your time and effort. A poet friend in Texas, Bill

Thank you, my friend. My teacher 5th grade teacher got me hooked on poetry. I was eleven years old and I ate it up. I didnt let anybody know because the boys then said it was gay or sissy crap. I knew better than that but peer pressure is a real bitch when a person is so young. God bless..
