Lost Love

In painful goodbyes, how could I ain’t cry? Think that lovebirds are always free to fly. If promises are broken, who’s to blame? To point him, more fingers on me---my shame. Is it better to accept and move on? That’s true, it’s everybody’s opinion. If love is lost, how can I find again? Take time to search while enjoying with friends. Sept. 2, 2022 10.03pm

Good job Len. You took you're sad, sorrowful break up and, with the addition of your last couplet, turned this work into a positive, uplifting poem! Linda

I couldn't think another topic for this that will make up the same syllable for each line my dear friend Bill. Breaking Up was my first title but when I've written the last couplet, I decided to change. Thank you very much again for your thoughtful visit, reading my poem and uplifting comments. More blessings to you my dear friend. Hugs
